MY WORK STORY

In 2010, I worked at a printing company in the U.K. I had a bachelor’s degree but couldn’t find work. I hated my job, but I wanted to provide what I could for my wife and two children. While I worked the night shift, I listened to podcasts about internet marketing, and it wasn’t long before I started my own site.

I worked all day in the printing company and at night I studied website development, SEO, and marketing. This is when I started Givebackcashback. I built that site into a business where it continues to grow. In 2015 I started to build websites for non-profit organisations. My work was mostly around homeless charities who could not afford to spend on a website. I still do this sort of work in my spare time for free. This allows me to give back.

At Givebackcashback we aim to provide the best Cashback savings where you can save money on shopping, finance, and much more. Every day I love working at Givebackcashback, where we’ve grown our company to multiple employees.

MY PERSONAL STORY

I live in the U.K with my wonderful wife and two kids. Just an average guy who loves to spend quality time with his family. The best moments are when we all have family time, watch a movie and grab some food. We do this regularly. When I am not working on Givebackcashback I love to educate myself on new and interesting topics. Some recent educational material is basic quantum physics and understanding the corporate impact on society. I’m always looking to understand more about that BIG question “Religion or science” I find both fascinating.

On the lighter side, I love to cook, watch old movies and spend time with my amazing wife.

About Mia Dom

When I was 12 years old, I made a bucket list of things to do in life.  It was originally just a fun project but has turned into a life-long obsession.  I don’t know if I will ever finish the list! However, I will give it a go.  Below you’ll see the entire list, including which ones I’ve finished, and which I have yet to complete.

MY BUCKET LIST
  • Fall in love and get married (COMPLETE! Met my wife many moons ago. We met at 19 and have been married for X years. Im not giving you my age! Ha, Ha,)
  • Have children (COMPLETE! I have two kids who I love very much. A boy and a girl. Blessed)
  • Save someone’s life (COMPLETE! When my nephew was 1 years old some food got stuck in his airway. He turned blue and was lifeless. Reacting to my first aid training I was able to dislodge the food and clear his airway. He started to breath again, another blessing)
  • Fund and open a homeless shelter in the name of my father. My father passed away a couple of years back. In his memory I would like to open and fund a homless shelter in my home City. Growing up my father, brother and I fell on hard times. We lost our home and spent many years being hungry and homeless, we stayed in homeless shelters and run down housing. I would love to help families who find themselves in this situation. A warm bed, safe place and food. This is very important to me.
